Friday lunch and still not an Airstream...

So it was Friday lunchtime and I was hungry so I thought it was time to find an Airstream to continue the adventure. I was already south of the river so I knew just the place to go... S 1st st in Austin.

I stopped at the first parking lot and there was an Airstream, I thought I was all set. To my disappointment it was closed. I walked all around to make sure which was too bad cause I liked their bumper sticker "Base jumping is not a crime". I will have to go back to see who is the base jumper.

Right next to it was Izzoz Tacos "where good friends make tacos and good tacos make friends" and I was hungry. So I ordered a pulled pork torta made with a ancho chilies and chipotle peppers. When one of the cooks brought it out I found it came with french fries which made this a five dollar pretty good deal. He stood there and smoked a cigerate while we looked up in the sky to try to find an airplane that was flying over. It was definetly a radial engine plane and sounded like a DC-3 to me but too many trees to spot it.

nice folks and pretty good torta for the money. http://izzoztacos.com/
